Welcome to Garrett Hill PA in Radnor Township Delaware County. Nestled in the northeastern corner of Delaware County in the center of the Main Line in Radnor Township, Garrett Hill is ideally located between Villanova and Bryn Mawr.  Garrett Hill is centered on the area south of Lancaster Avenue, west of Garrett Avenue, East of Lowrys Lane, and north of Conestoga, but is often used to reference the larger area including the surrounding developments. This location puts Garrett Hill in a prime spot along the Main Line with easy access to the Blue Route/ I-476 running just to the west of Villanova.  It is also well served by SEPTA.  Bus lines run throughout the area and the SEPTA Route 100 High Speed Lines runs right through Garrett Hill with a stop between Lowrys Lane and Garrett Avenue. ...

Just Consider: Pennsylvania contributes 1% of GLOBAL greenhouse gases. Think about the impact we are having globally from here in our own backyard.   Last night Radnor held the second meeting in it's  Sustainability Series: Issues in Sustainable Living and Growth in Radnor Township.  The night's topic was Alternative, Renewable Energy Sources: Transforming our Energy Economy.  The series is hosted at the Radnor Township Municipal Building on Iven but the presentations are also aired live on Comcast Cable Channel 10 and Verizon FiOS Channel 30. Radnor Township Pennsylvania Third Quarter Real Estate Market Report* Radnor Township Delaware County Comparison of the Third Quarter of September 2008 to September 2006 shows the greatest effects on the decline of the Median Sold Price, decline of the number of units sold and the growing Months Supply of Inventory. However, this is a traditionally strong, high end market that could move forward very quickly with a little promise of overall recovery. Radnor Township, Delaware County Real Estate - 2nd Quarter 2008 Market Report* Real Estate Median Sold Price indicators for Radnor Township shows a drop in the Real Estate Median Sold Price between June of 2006 and June of 2008 of (3.28%).  The peak Median Sold Price for Radnor Township occurred May 2007 at $865,000. The comparison between May 2007 peak and June of 2008 shows a Median Sold price decline of (29.48%).  Higher Months Supply of Inventory and Average Days on Market, may, in part be attributed to more high end new construction inventory in Radnor Township. Radnor Township - Delaware County Pennsylvania   Homes For Sale In Radnor Township     Radnor Township, in Delaware County Pennsylvania, is a part of the original “Welsh Tract” land grant from William Penn that was founded in 1682. Radnor was named for the Wales town of “Radnorshire”. The community initially grew around the Quaker Friends Meeting House. Lincoln Highway, built in 1794, was the first Toll Road in the United States. It was built to connect the City of Philadelphia to Lancaster Pennsylvania. In the Radnor Township section of the Main Line, the housing market data from July 2007 to end of September 2007 showed some surprisingly similar results to those of Lower Merion, as compared to the negative data we have been bombarded with from the main stream media. Then again, nothing sells like bad news, except worse news. The lowest sales price for a home in Radnor township was $150,000 with the highest selling home (or should I say Main Line Mansion) sold at $3,602,140. If you are thinking of buying a home on the Main Line, better get out your checkbook and get ready to pay. The average (yes, AVERAGE!) listed price for homes on the market was $856,584.
