What do you do on completing 17,000 detached, single family homes on Long Island, NY in the 1940s?Builder William Levitt bought land north of Philadelphia (Bucks County) and proceeded to build 17,000 more in the 1950s. With more than half of the 40 neighborhood Sections having average sale prices less than $200,000 over the past year, Levittown Pennsylvania is popular with both first-time-buyers and investors alike.
