Today we went to an Open House where it was simply overrun with buyer hopefuls. Vehicles lined both sides of the road as we approached the property.The house was located in an excellent school district on a two plus acre piece of land with a newer roof, newer swimming pool and the structure of the house was solid. The sad thing was it was pretty much gutted on the inside.You see the owners had gone away over Thanksgiving and that is when the plumbing in the second floor bathroom decided to go on holiday also. The seller’s agent shared this info with us. The sellers did not turn off their water before they left.  Too bad. Having listings right now is a wonderful position to be in, but that sometimes means you have clients looking for homes in a market where finding inventory is hard and when you do, most likley there is strong competition. I had been working with some clients and several homes sold as fast as they came on the market.
