Today is a Federal Holiday marking the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.  Each January holiday I am reminded of the statue of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that is located in a park in Chester, Delaware County, PA.  Dr. King was a theological student in Chester from 1948 to 1951.Back in 2008, a larger than life sculpture was erected in honor of Dr. King in Veterans Memorial Park next to the J Lewis Crozer Library on 620 Engle Street.  If you have never seen this piece of art, it is well worth the time.  There are benches for sitting and the library is always a good place to visit. 01/15/2018
