RUN!  It's rare when you hear those words roll off the lips of a trusted home inspector, but I knew he wasn't kidding.  After being in contract for 4 months on an Oregon Short Sale, the listing agent disclosed there was a sinkhole in the front yard that was filled in by the Seller.  Did you say... SINKHOLE?!  I'm sure what comes to mind when we hear that word, is the guy in Florida who was swallowed up in the middle of the night while sleeping in his bed. I'm a TJ Junkie!  Four years ago, I wrote a post about the need for a Trader Joe's in Southern Oregon.  I highlighted the Facebook Fan Page and I even contacted their Corporate office to tell them... 'If You Build It, They Will Come!'   Trader Joe's responded by saying that Southern Oregon simply didn't have the population or demographics to warrant a store.  Oh yeah?!  Well that didn't stop me and thousands of my fellow Southern Oregonians from hounding Trader Joe's.  And, guess what... it worked! A Strange Encounter at a Coffee Shop.  I visited my favorite coffee shop in Medford Oregon today and a strange thing happened.  A man approached me and asked if I had a smart phone with Internet access.  I said yes.  He asked me to Google 'Ozymandias.'  As I began reading Wikipedia's definition, he urged me to scroll to the poem.  Then he grabbed my phone and began reading.  I was stunned at first, but willingly complied.  I sat down on a couch and sipped my mocha as I quietly observed the man with my phone. The Key to a Happy Short Sale - Keep Calm & Drink Vodka!  Yesterday, I was having a Short Sale moment... and while most of my friends know that I don't drink, I've recently given it great consideration ;)  I thought that I had received an approval on one of my Oregon Short Sale listings, that is until Chase sent me flying to the funny farm with a follow-up...
