It’s Snowing!!!!! Snow should have been here for some time – Mt. Bachelor generally opens on or before Thanksgiving weekend.  This year we are seeing a late start to our winter recreational season.  Now we just started getting snow today – but it is supposed to be steady for the next several days.  Planning a trip to Ski Mt. Bachelor and Always wanted a home of your own to enjoy on this side of the mountain? There has not been a better time in years to buy your vacation home or vacation rental than now.  Have you seen what rates are?  You should see how motivated some sellers are, pricing is great for the buyer plus a lot of great incentives. This is the follow up to the blog Buyer Deceived Because Agent Needed Commission comments are still being posted, thank you. Later that same day I bit the bullet called my Principal Broker who was tied up in meetings. I know the other Principal Broker so, I made the call, told him about the conversation, and explained how it bothered me to know this was happening. His reply - Buyer beware!I almost hung my license at that company before I interviewed where I am - boy did I make the right decision. This broker has done a few transactions over the last couple years in this area and should know the zoning and area well.We all know what a RR10, FP, WA and LM are (in order they are Rural Residential, Flood Plain, Wildlife Area, Landscape Management). She has not added a due diligence contingency to the accepted offer, and each of the above are listed for zoning on the County Records for this property. Closing is a week...
