Yep, Todd Clark and the Friendly Home Team do it again! We sold the ugly house, heck, even the owner called it the ugly house. It hadn’t been updated since 1971 and that includes the carpets. But, we did find a buyer for it finally who had some vision and some plans for some major updating. Both buyer and seller are now happy and we look forward to serving them both again in the future.

One of the biggest decisions for a family when they move in to an area is what the schools are like. Errol Hassell is located at 18100 SW Bany Road in Aloha, Oregon, and only had about 550 students enrolled in the 2007-2008 school year, and the school report card was pretty darn good. This is a little park, maybe 3 acres, located between the Granada Park neighborhood and Bany Road in Aloha, Oregon. This park may be small, but the walking paths aren't bad and the wildlife seems to be abundant. Yes, it is true! Last year during the Christmas season, I had two $450 electric bills after the space shuttle announced my house could be seen from space with all the Christmas lights I had on it.This year we are living in one of our investment properties and it isn't wired for such a light show, but I still knew I needed to find a better way, and we have! For less than half of one of last years bills, we found outdoor solar lights that charge during the day and stay on all night long and don't cost me a dime in electricity. Then the lights are LED and will last 100,000 hours without burning out!You can start your search the same way I did and Google "Solar Christmas Lights" and you will be amazed at how many are out there. Halloween 2007 is officially over, even though I still seem to have a Superman and a Cinderella running around my living room. The kids all had fun and now it is time for the sugar overload to test the parent's patience for the next couple of weeks.Although, once again this year, much to the kids' disappointment, there was is plenty of dangerous candy that mom and dad had to confiscate. As you can see from the picture below, I think this may have been a record year for "UN-SAFE CANDY" that had to be taken to protect the kids. - lolBut as promised, I do also have pictures of the kids in this year's choice of costumes and even though nothing too embarrassing, I still plan to have these pictures out for prom night as well as my gun cleaning supplies.                     So until next year,...

I love Halloween and not just because I have to test candy to make sure it isn't dangerous. As all parents now the most dangerous candies are Butter Fingers, Chocolate Malt balls and Kit Kats.But you also get the chance to have fun with the kids, even if they don't always like you taken pictures that you can use against them later. This is why I'm posting these pictures, so I can get them out there for the world to see before they can delete them from our hard drive.I will update this blog after Halloween, but here are some great photos of the kids from the past few years.
