Downtown Toronto rental market …….  Yesterday, when I was in the office, late in the evening, one of my colleagues was also there .…..his wife was calling, to find out when he would be home ……. He was busy working on 3 offers on a rental listing!  He told me it was a 1 bedroom condo unit with no parking ……. I shared with him that I went through a similar situation last weekend. The showings started on Friday and on Saturday, I had 3 offers. It leased for full price.   This same rental listing of mine in 2014 was on the market for a few weeks before it leased; for under asking price.  Right now, the Downtown Toronto rental market is very active.    03/11/2016

It often surprises me how lightly some of the home owners and also some of my colleges treat rentals.I might be wrong, but I treat rentals just as seriously as I treat sales. I am tall. Well, not super tall, just a bit taller then average. The problem is that I can also see higher then average. And I have quite a few buyer clients who are way taller then me and obviously they can see even higher. For some reason many home sellers expect their potential home buyers to be the size of a 5-year old.
