We recently had a Purchaser client that was income challenged to qualify for a mortgage; that was limited by the Ontario Disabilities Pension for their monthly income.The building site that came to mind was the Option for Homes, where low income housing is mixed with open market purchases. Up Coming NeighbourhoodsLast night I had the pleasure to attend the Junction Residents Association bi monthly meeting. This is relatively new group that has formed in the Junction Triangle of West Toronto in addition to the Local BIA (Business Improvement Association).This meeting was organized, orderly, enthusiastic and informative. Held at the grass roots level of homeowners, the group is focused on their own neighbourhood issues that deal with parking, continued expansion (future development) Parks and playgrounds, shrinking school funding and boundary issues. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. I received a phone call from a Realtor to Stage a house in Toronto in the Lawrence/Royal York area. It had to be done quickly as the family had flown in from Los Angeles to sell the family home and were only going to be here for a few days.  I filled a van with as much inventory as possible as I was going to Stage a property sight unseen. Very little furniture was in the home, some victorian style sofas and chairs, some china, a bed from Ikea.   I arrived and suggested that the client and myself shop at Walmart for a few extra items.
