Are you considering condos in the hip KingWest Village?     There is another alternative to condo living in the sky. Take a look at condo town homes in Toronto's King West Village. There is a newer development just around the corner at Bathurst and King St. West and it is part of the Summit Development. Some of these towns are tucked away just south of King St in a little courtyard you would never know they are there. The townhome owners have full access to the facilities in the condos for 701, 705 and 725 King St. West. There is a nice pool, exercise equipment for a full gym workout and a spot for yoga. Meet your friends and enjoy a game of table tennis or pool. This would be a nice friendly place for a young family in the city. The location can't be beat with 24 hour streetcar access,...

We are finally getting warmer weather and with that comes summer construction work. For us folks that live in the west end of Toronto, the King St. West streetcar tracks are being replaced. The track work will impact King St. West from Close Avenue all the way to where King St. meets Queen St. West. The work will begin in May, 2011 and will wrap-up in early Sept. 2011.   If you are a homeowner along King St. West you should label your garbage and recycling bins, easier to identify and save yourself some headaches too.

I sold a piece of vacant land prime for development in Downtown Toronto after much effort of resolving tree issues, not to mention other concerns or objections by neighbours on this matter. When the seller first purchased the land 12 years ago, there were several trees on the land which were only saplings at the time. The trees matured over the years and any buyer who wanted to purchase and develop the land will have to go through permit appllication process at the Department of Forestry if their design required to have the tree removed. There is one tree which sat bang in the middle of the site. There were in total four or five trees that would need to be reviewed by the City of Toronto Urban Forestry if they were candidate for removal. My seller went through a series of due diligence ...

There is a brand new development coming to King West Village, the DNA lofts will be at the old car dealership lot on the north side of the street. This will be the 3rd building by this developer, Canderel Stonebridge Equity Group. For DNA 1 and 2 lofts that was built a few years ago, these buildings are now solid investments for the original buyers and these are really desirable units on the resale market. Liberty Village is just a stones throw away, with Metro grocery store opening 24 hours a day, convenient location to banking, liquor store and other amenities.  So, this is your chance to get into this neighborhood at attractive pre-construction sites, the new DNA 3 lofts is the place to be on King St. West. Call me a 416-575-4663 for your private tour and best selection of units that...

Its celebration time in Toronto as Hollywood comes north to our fair city! You see the Toronto Film Festival will be kicking off in a few days, it runs from Sept. 9-19th, 2010. The city is already a buzz with media from around the world as we set the stage for 35th Annual Toronto Film Festival. What make this event even more special is the grand opening of The Bell Lightbox, its the home of the festival. Over the years I have watched the transformation of a gas station slowly turn into this modern forward thinking building on King St. near John St. To celebrate TIFF will have a grand opening for the public, on Sept. 12th from 11:00am-4:00pm. There will lots of activities for the entire family. King St. West will be closed between John and Peter Sts. enjoy the concert series, family fun ...
