Dogs are great.  They don't care if it's raining or not.  All they want to do is go for walks.  Today was a pretty dismal day.  A constant drizzle throughout the day made it a good day to throw a Matchbox 20 CD on and do some house cleaning. By late afternoon my little Lola started looking at me the way she does when she is "ready".  All you have to do is say the words "are you ready" and she knows she's going for a walk. I had to run a couple of errands so decided on the way home to take her for a walk around one of our favourite spots, a pond off Bayshire Drive in Oakville where I'm often lucky enough to spot a blue heron.  No luck in that department today but some ducks and trees just starting to turn to their fall colours. Europe's top central banks are expected to cut borrowing costs on Thursday as market focus shifts back to the economic crisis from the excitement of Barack Obama's historic election victory. Both the European Central Bank and the Bank of England are expected to cut interest rates. Many economists are forecasting the ECB to cut rates by at least half a percentage point, while others are anticipating a cut by as much as 75 basis points.
