FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT RONDEAU PROVINCIAL PARK "MONTH OF MAY" It makes no difference if you are a novice or a seasoned BIRD WATCHER you have a treat in store for you every May at Rondeau Provincial Park in CHATHAM-KENT just outside of Chatham. The annual spring migration attracts thousands of visitors from all over the country to Chatham-Kent. There is a schedule of events planned or you can chose your own agenda. Check out the birdwatchers website and decide what fits your schedule. In past years birders have got a look at some rare visitors to the area. In May 2005, the Kirkland's Warbler made an appearance. In 2008, the Townsend Warbler and in 2010 the Blue Grosbeak stopped in Rondeau Provincial Park during the spring migration. You can be sure to be in your glory if you enjoy birding. T...
