Gananoque, Ontario One of the best things about living in Gananoque in the Autumn, is the local area apple orchards. We're minutes away from fresh picked apples and freshly pressed Apple Cider. I love sitting out on my porch (which just happens to be on the prettiest street in Gananoque) sipping on warm cider, inhaling all the wonderful autumn scents: the cinnamon wafting up from my cider . . . it blends in perfectly with the wood smoke in the air from neighbours fireplaces . . . there's even a certain fragrance that comes from the gorgeous coloured leaves that line our street. But one of the most pleasant aromas would be of my Apple Cider Pie baking in the oven - like heaven must be! If you've never tried this pie before, you are missing out on something very special.
