Léon Levavasseur was born in Cherbourg, France back in1863.  Initially he wanted to study fine arts, but switched to engineering, his focus was in arc lamps and petroleum engines.  He approached Jules Gastambide with a proposal about an idea he had. Adolfo Kaminsky was born in Argentina back in 1925.  The family moved to Paris, France when he was 7.  He worked in a dye shop and was fascinated by the chemistry of colorants.  In 1940, after the German invasion of France the family home was taken by the Germans.He entered the Resistance after his mother was killed by the Nazis in 1941.  His family was interned in the camp of Drancy, as a prelude to deportation.  Thanks to the support from the Consul of Argentina and the United States they were freed in 1943, they moved back to Paris.Afterwards, he worked in an underground laboratory in Paris for the rest of World War II.  His specialty was forging documents.  His moto was “Keep awake.  The longer possible.   Can I get a witness?   Although Madam Justice is blindfolded she does not deal out justice fairly or does she?  She does not regard your race, ethnicity, sex marital status or anything other than the facts of a case.  She does not care if you are fat, skinny, black, white, or any color in-between.  She has her eyes covered so she can hear the testimony of all the parties involved.  Really come on now all of us have our little prejudices some may not care for people of the opposite sex, race, religious beliefs and the list goes on.    Ever thought about having a trial with everyone testifying behind a curtain.  No judge could see who was testifying or neither could the jury.  The case would be decided by the merits of the case only.  All evidence could be presented but with just no one... 07/20/2014

  Could not give client away.   When I was made principal broker in March of this year I quit taking listings or dealing with buyers.  That’s not exactly true I do have a select set of clients I’ve been working with over the years that I’ve kept.  Anyway a few weeks ago I had a person hit my website and fill out some information.  I called an agent working with us and give him/her the client’s information.  About two weeks ago that person wanted to see some homes.  I sent an email to all the agents (actually three emails) telling them if I gave them this client to contact me.   I do not keep track of which agent I give a client to but anyway that’s another story.  I waited two days and when I did not hear from anyone I made contact with the client.  I showed him 5 homes over a two week ... 07/01/2014
