A little ice in your inspection?    Don and I were in Claremore, Oklahoma Saturday and Sunday.  We hurried home yesterday because the ice storm was supposed to be headed our way and we didn't want to try to get home on icy roads.   I was busy texting with a client asking about changing his inspection to Wednesday when the sun was due to shine upon us..  but he and his family had already driven in from out of town and hopeful that it was going to work out for today.    This morning, no ice in Idabel, roads clear.  I called my client early saying that inspection still on schedule for today at 3 pm.  When I left Idabel at 2 to drive to Smithville, no signs of ice.. as we drove north, the scenary changed quite a bit... white, icy, beautiful!  Roads were clear all the way though.     The icy... 02/16/2015

What's the Weather like in Southeast Oklahoma, Judi? Does it get cold in Southeast Oklahoma?  Do you have lots of tornadoes?  Does it snow in McCurtain County?     To be honest, I've never been trained as a weatherman or weather person and really don't worry much about the weather except to know if I need to grab a jacket on the way out the door.  OR maybe an umbrella.     AND "cold", "hot", etc are very subjective terms.  The humidity may be  uncomfortable to one person but feels great to someone else..     BUT facts and stats don't lie.  The best thing is to check weather sites to get average temperatures, precipitation, and/or any other statistics that are important to you in terms of the weather.       I don't consider our winters cold.. they are mild to me.  Maybe that's because I... 02/03/2015

Redoing Dining Room Chairs   I thought that I was happy with my dining room chairs... I had recovered the seats right after  Don had purchased the Paul Bunyon Cannonball Dining Room Set for me at an auction in 1994. ARK is assisting a family with finding a home for Molly. She is a 6.5 year old adult dog, whose mother was a full blood Black Labrador. Molly is a very sweet and playful girl, but wants to hog all of the attention. She also plays really rough with her other companion canines and playing will sometime turn into a fuss. For these reasons she would be best suited to be an only dog. She has previously had vaccinations, but is not current at this time.
