Team,   Hi, just a quick post to brag about another buyer that I helped to buy a HUD home.  This particular home is in Lewis Center, Ohio's Prestwick Commons subdivision.  Awesome lot that backed to trees / and a creek.  Large 4 bedroom home. My buyer got it for $143k.  I sold a similar home on a lot that wasn't quite as nice in the same subdivision in the last 6 months for over $220k.  Now granted there's some work to be done, but it's still a great buy.  Short term hurt to the subdivions, but long term help.  My buyer has big plans. After a morning meeting at the Board of Realtors here in Columbus, Ohio, I met another great Realtor, Stephanie. We shared our stories on how trying to network with friends and family is sometimes the hardest..the disappointments many. You would think these people in your "sphere of influence" would support you the most...some have, others are afraid to get involved with someone they know so well. It is believed that Lewis Center was named after the William L. Lewis family that donated land for a railroad station. The Lewis Center zip code 43035 covers a very large area in Orange Township. Consumers:  Please Visit Discover Columbus for CURRENT Central Ohio Real Estate Market Reports - this is old news but for some reason there are still a lot of people visiting.  Although ActiveRain / Localism has a category for market reports a local ActiveRain member was highly opposed to my sharing this information. The numbers here are the single family, townhouse and condominiums for sale and sold in the Lewis Center and Galena areas in the south east portion of Delaware County.
