I thought you might be interested in seeing it.Filling it with foam is, by far, the easiest, quickest, cheapest and least invasive method for getting the job done. This is definitely the way to go if foam is an option for you. There are a couple of situations where it might not be the right choice: If the property is too close to water, then foam will not work. It will rise to the top and float like a rubber ball in a pool. If the oil tank is located beneath a driveway or garage, then the weight that rests above it will render the area unsafe. CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF PATCHOGUE, NY RECENT UPDATE 11/10/12 Ten bikes have been given away and they have 100 still available. UPDATE:  The church is looking for people who would like to learn to assemble new bikes and fix old ones. They are interviewing now but the actual training program will not start until March. They will pay a minimum of $12.00 per hour to those who are hired. For people without cars or access to public transportation, the Congregational Church of Patchogue has come up with an innovative program. The Workers Without Wheels Program donates bicycles year-round to people who would otherwise be unable to commute to their jobs. This video is from a couple of years ago, but this year's Main Street and River Parades were, recently, held and enjoyed by the town residents and other folks from around the County. Patchogue Gets a New Bilingual Branch of Bethpage Federal Credit Union   Bethpage Federal Credit Union has twenty-five locations on Long Island. Twelve of these locations are bilingual. A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremoony for the new Patchogue branch located at Route 112 and E. Main Street was held yesterday. A bank spokeswoman, Audrey Cohen, was quoted as saying that "Bethpage is in the midst of aggressive Suffolk County expansion with emphasis on servicing minority populations."  Bethpage Federal Credit Union locations on Long Island. THE PATCHOGUE ARTS BIENNIAL   Briarcliffe College, 225 W. Main St., will be hosting a 3-week event which is being touted as "Long Island's largest arts exhibit of its kind."  The display will present the work of artists from Brooklyn to the East End in an attempt to educate communities about inclinations and intentions of art. Artspace Patchogue Lofts   Earlier this week , a grand opening was held for local officials, residents of Artspace and the general public. The completion of this much-anticipated $18 million dollar development is key to the revitalization of downtown Patchogue and an essential part of Patchogue's transition to a "Village of the Arts" according to Mayor Paul Pontieri. The five-story, 60,000 square foot project includes 45 loft-style apartments and 2 retail spaces on the ground level where people engaged in the arts can live and work. Great South Bay Music Festival, Shorefront Park, Patchogue, NY   The weather this weekend will be just perfect for the 5th annual Great South Bay Music Festival, Shorefront Park, Patchogue, NY.  Mid 80's, sunny, low humidity and zero chance of rain is about as good as it gets for this 3 day music festival and cultural event where 45 artists will be showcased on 3 stages. OKAY, I GET IT.  Times are tough. We're all vying for that one elusive buyer. but Seriously! It's come to this?? At my last open house, I had 3 people within the first half hour. After that, no one else came through the door for the duration of the hours advertised. I didn't even give it a second thought, as this has been a common scenario here on Long Island for some time.
