You might think that means the amount of available inventory also increased but that's not the case. The Monroe, NY real estate results are available for December 2017. The number of sales remains healthy, inventory is still low and sales prices remain stable. If you are a buyer, the shortage of inventory means you need to be ready with your pre-approval should the right house appear on the market. You also need to be prepared to make a strong offer. At the same time, the total number of available homes in Monroe NY slipped from 90 to 85. At the risk of stating the obvious, new listings are needed! One of the Hero groups I support as part of the Homes for Heroes program is that of Law Enforcement. I'm thrilled to be able to do my part to help them, as the entire point of law enforcement is service to others. Not only are they concerned with ensuring laws are upheld and enforced, but they make sure those in their jurisdiction are safe and protected. Therefore, it was no surprise to me to read yesterday about a program Monroe NY has in place. I learned that the village of Monroe NY has a program called RUOK, or the Are You OK Program. The Monroe, NY real estate results are available for October 2017. For those of you who actually take the time to read these market reports, you will notice I did not write about September yet. I'm not sure how the entire month got away from me, but it did. Therefore, I will include both September and October in this report. Over the last few months, sales and revenues both remained strong.  Sales VolumeAs mentioned previously, August 2017 had the highest number of sales in the past ten years with 33. While the last two months were not quite as strong, they still performed well.
