Food Review for Texas Roadhouse in East Meadow NY Are you a rib lover like me? Then you gotta try Texas Roadhouse in East Meadow NY! I am a rib connoisseur and very picky. The meat can fall of the bone but it has to be tender, not dry. Their ribs are out of this world tender and their rib sauce is the best I have ever had. We got there at 4 p.m. this past Sunday. We only waited 5 minutes and were seated. Our server, Katie, gave us four homemade rolls with a side of homemade honey and cinnamon butter. It was sweet and delicious. Then our food came. The architects were Keith Striga, and Phil Gavosto. It's a beautiful and peaceful place where one can visit and reflect upon the nearly 3000 who died tragically.  Placards tell the story of the attacks. To say I fell in love today is no understatement.  I visited The Seasons at East Meadow, an Active Adult Community for 55 and over Long Islanders who prefer not to leave home for other parts of the country.  Driving up to the gated entry of the private community is a little like peeling away the layers of an onion.  I'm not sure what I expected, but suffice it to say it was not what I found.  An enclave of condominium units built in two phases, with a centrally located 17,000 s.f. clubhouse, The Seasons is sure to appeal to the 55 and over home buying crowd on so many levels.  The units are well thought out and selling briskly in an otherwise lackluster market.  Offering condos at a price point below local competing communities, with a multitude of options and designer touches, this act... 01/04/2011
