You've had arguments over cheesesteak quality. 3. You've actually found the Echelon Mall. 4. You or one of your friends has Lymes Disease.5. You don't understand why there aren't more 24-hour diners elsewhere in the country.6. You know what a Wawa is, and know the location of at least 10 of them.  7. You know that you should get the hell out of Camden before dark. 8. You know how to successfully navigate a traffic circle. 9. You pronounce "water" "wudder". 10. You refuse to call Hoagies "subs."11. You've almost fallen asleep on the parkway, turnpike and 295 12. You've lived through hurricanes, nor'easters and fires, but have...

By now we have all heard about the Fed. cutting rates for a second straight time. Rates were cut the other day by another .25 points. What does this mean for us? Well we should see mortgage rates begin to dip slightly now also. The FED. rate cut is the rate at which banks and other lending institutions get there money, and unfortunately they charge us the consumer a higher rate. What this is designed to do is help get the real estate market going. The main thing that has really hurt us this year is those adjustable rate mortgages or ARM loans. To be honest it not really to prevalent in our area anyway. The thing that has slowed us down is the media's negative attention. What was failed to report was Camden & Gloucester Counties actually showed a slight increase in the price of homes. Th...

Well the Fed cut rates again today. This is always a good sign for us, whether you buying or selling. It gives people more confidence in the market. Our areas has been doing pretty well despite the rest of the market. Our taxes actually compare very well to our surrounding towns and we do have a lot to offer right in town. Our car insurance is even cheaper in Gloucester County. Sure homes on the market are taking a little longer to sell in some instances, but home that are marketed well and priced right are moving. It still comes down to finding the right person for the right home. It does help when you advertise in everything you can think off too! Also our area gets a lot of residents relocating from Philadelphia. Most of our residents are from there and even more continue to work ove...

Well the news about real estate keeps getting worse. IF you keep listening to the news thats what you can expect to hear. The fact is that the media is driving consumers away. Things are slow, but August is always a slow month for our office. We have had a pretty good year so far. In fact in January we had our best month ever! Homes are moving, they just aren't moving the way they did a few years ago. Thats fine we just have to understand things have slowed down. It takes on average 3 months to sell a home now. However there are exceptions to every rule. We have some homes that have sold in as little as a week. Its just comes down to that specific person who absolutely wants it. The price doesn't hurt either. I think things will remain slow until the end of this year, and sellers are go...
