Scotch Plains - Fanwood Community Garden Breaks Ground!

Today ground was officially broken at the site of the brand new, Scotch Plains - Fanwood Community Garden. This new Community Garden is located at the Frazee House complex (the Frazee House is visible behind several of the volunteers in the photo at the right) at 1451 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains. The new Community Garden was partially funded by the Union County Means Green Community Garden Grants program. Each raised plot will be 10 feet by 2 feet and can be rented for only $40 for the season! The fee covers the bed, soil, compost and water making these beds a terrific bargain.
