An 11 room 4 bedroom, two bath and two car garage home on just over a 1/2 acre of property built in 1967 the home is priced for action at just $249,900.00 The sad part of this report is that there weren't any Under Contracts or Closed transactions for the month and five properties expired from the market with an average list price of $262,920.00 and the average days on the market for these properties were 229 days. Ogdensburg School had it's seventh grade field tripon May 10-11 an Overnight Field trip to Fairview Lake in Stillwater, NJ. To my count there were 35 students and 7 chaperons. It is said that the movie Friday the 13thwas filmed there. I had made an inquiry to one of the camp counselors and was told that one shot at the boat house was taken there but never made it in the scene. I was told that the movie was actually made at a boy scout camp about 5 miles north in Blairstown NJ.                 Here is a photo of the kids getting ready for a boat ride in the lake where Jason sleeps!  Here a YMCACamp Counselor instructs the kids on how to play the bridge game.                                              April 24, 2007 Ogdensburg School District. Has their Second Trimester Honor Roll Ceremony. The Board of Education members had their election of officers and then read in the winners of the first and second Honor Roll for outstanding scholastic performance. The meeting room was packed with students and proud parents as the kids names were read off and each of them received their certificate.                                      OGDENSBURG BEARS TRACK AND FIELD                                      TEAM STRETCH DURING PRACTICE It was a beautiful day at Ogdensburg School with the sun high in the sky about 75 degrees and the Ogdensburg Bears Track Team take center field to do their warm up exercises. Star Long Jumper, Sean Rocks leads the team in a lite workout.Sean a 7th. grader and his first year joining the Field and Track Team beat everyone in the long jump his first time out with a jump of 13'9'', he has some competition out there with some of his team mates coming in around 13' so, Sean knows he has to really work at it.After work outs he raced an 8th. Have you been watching the news lately? Floods all around the Bound Brook Area, devastation hit all parts of New Jersey, Ogdensburg and surrounding area's received over 8" of rain in a 36 hour period of time!A Time for renewed prayer, how many people prayed to the all mighty that he would let it stop raining. God Opened up the Sky and out poured the rain.I was one of those people bailing out my basement and praying for a miracle. All three pumps where going full blast, people in my neighborhood banded together and made sure everyone was taken care of. Ogdensburg Bears face their play offs on 3/6/2007 Star rebounder #23 Sean Rocks is seen in the above photo's. In the first photo he just past the ball out rebounding an eighth grader, Sean is in the seventh grade and is the second tallest player on the courts and is expected to be someone to watch for in the years ahead. He comes from a line of Basketball school star athletes with his uncle Kevin being a top scorer in his high school years. Sean at around 5'8" can grab the rim from a stand still jump. He is also quick on his feet and will be joining the track team this year.Sean is a well rounded kid and is liked by everyone he meets.
