Balmar Woods is one of Northern Manalapan’s most desirable and sought after single family home communities. It is conveniently located at the northern end of the township at the crossroads of Union Hill Road, Pease Road and Pinebrook Road. There are 167 colonial style homes built between 1985 and 1994. Models offer 4 or 5 bedrooms and are sized between approximately 2,500 and 3,200 square feet.  Homes are set on .50 to .75 acre lots, most with mature landscaping.   Built on a wooded area many of the original trees remain to give the development a very warm look and feel. The streets are named after Native American tribes such as Apache, Navajo, and Mohawk. Within the development, at no additional cost to the residents, is a lovely family park with a tennis court, soccer field and very ...

You asked for it, you got it!!  As a realtor with a focus on Manalapan Township, one question I get asked over and over again is... "What can you tell me about the commute to New York City?"   How about... "EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COMMUTING FROM MANALAPAN, NEW JERSEY!!!"  Myself, my husband, my Dad and many friends have commuted to the New York City area for years and years! The important questions to start with are where are you going (Midtown vs. Downtown) and how do you prefer to get there (bus or train).      BUS Travel to Midtown Manhattan (Port Authority) With sheltered bus stops along the Route 9 corridor, New Jersey Transit carries riders to New York's Port Authority Bus Terminal, located in Midtown Manhattan on 8th Avenue and 42nd Street. If you want ensure a rotten start to your day and probably piss off the guy sitting next to you on the train or the bus, take heed of the following.         Top 7 Sure-Fire Ways to Foul Up Your Commute...       7.  Be late!  Don't worry, we'll wait while you dodge traffic and risk your life.  And if you cause a major accident,  that will give me something REALLY interesting to post on Facebook!             6. Don't buy your ticket in advance!  Nothing makes the bus driver, and your fellow commuters, happier than waiting for you to shak...

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED. MANALAPAN WAS OVERWHELMED WITH COATS!!! Make this a Warmer Winter for Neighbors in Need!!   The goal of the 15th Annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive is to collect and distribute 50,000 “gently used” winter coats to at-risk men, women, children and infants.  Over the past fourteen years, Jersey Cares has collected, sorted and distributed thousands of winter coats to New Jersey residents in need through this program.     Companies, churches, police stations, schools and other organizations collect coats throughout the drive.  Volunteers then sort the donated coats and bag them for pick-up. Agency recipients schedule their pick-up and distribute the coats to those in need.                             If you have a coat to donate, bring it  between November 1st...

You think you'd prefer to stay?  You have no sense of urgency?  You are hoping to still be on the market when every last buyer has purchased?  Good... keep reading! Sometimes when showing a home I can't help but think some sellers have to be intentionally trying to sabotage their sale!  Some of the things they do seem so obvious that I can't imagine them possibly being so ignorant as to think their behavior won't be an impediment toward a potential buyer developing interest in their home! Here's a collection of some of my favorites.  Enjoy!   Top 5, Sure Fire, Ways to Sabotage the Showing of Your Home         Number 5 - Break out a nice, big hunk of catfish.  Fry it up about a minute before we are scheduled to arrive.  Mmmmmm, mmmmm good! I recently had a wonderful experience at my daughter's new pediatric dentist and felt I had to share! Tender Smiles for Kids Dr. Max Sulla recently opened a new, state-of-the-art, pediatric dentistry office in Freehold Township, in the heart of Monmouth County, conveniently located just down the road from CentraState Medical Center.   I was absolutely blown away by the office!  From the warm and welcoming waiting room, with flat screen tv's and wii and playstation for the kids, to the knowledgable and friendly staff, I was continually impressed.  To call the treatment areas "state-of-the-art" would be an understatement!!  The treatment was very advanced as well... say "bye-bye" to Mr. Drill and hello to Mr. Laser! Dr. Max immediately struck me as a gentle, caring dentist.   He practices...

I recently had a very good experience with a fabulous chiropractor and wanted to spread the word to anyone looking for chiropractic services to consider Joffe Family Chiropractic, conveniently located in Manalapan Township, in the heart of Monmouth County, New Jersey. A few weeks ago, I woke up with the worst stiff neck in the history of stiff necks.  By day's end, the pain was so excruciating I couldn't move my head!   I reached out to Dr. Joffe, who understanding my level of discomfort, worked me into his schedule!  Was I ever glad he did!! By the next morning, I was MUCH better!  A few more treatments and I was right as rain again! More important than getting me out of "crisis mode," was Dr. Joffe's approach to all-over body wellness.  Dr. Joffe's philosophy is to help the residen...
