The average rate on a 15-year fixed mortgage has fallen to its lowest level in decades. The rate from the popular refinancing option dropped to 3.54 % this week from 3.66 % last week, Freddie Mac said Thursday. That’s the lowest result sing the mortgage buyer began tracking it since 1991.  The average rate on the 30 year fixed loan fell to a year low from 4.39% from 4.55% the previous week. Mortgage rates treed to track the yield on the 10 year mortgage note. A weakening US economy had led many investors to shift money from stocks to bond, which are seen as safer bets. Officials in the city of Hoboken are hoping that the progressive ideals of Hoboken and nearby cities for implementing innovative results will serve as a model for other urban areas. Construction update of those 156 Hoboken Condos at 1450 Washington at Hudson Tea by Toll Brothers The hammers are swinging, hard hats running around like ball boys at Wimbledon, sparks are flying.  According to my sources, 1450 Washington at Hudson Tea is ahead of schedule.  March 2012 looks like a real possibility for the lower floors with the higher floors coming in over several months.  156 Hoboken Condos and one retail space. The windows are in. the facade is on....  check out the video     These condos looked like a European train table until the shift of power in the Hoboken city council last night. Let's hope they fight over $25 recreation fees and leave the construction to the professionals.  Want to see them first hand or get more information?

Hoboken Condos | 1450 Washington At Hudson Tea Here is the latest on the retail space at 1450 Washington At Hudson Tea.... There are to be 156  Hoboken condos and 1 commercial unit in the building known as  1450 Washington At Hudson Tea. I think the retail space will eventually be subdivided  because according to the Public Offering Statement  the retail space takes up nearly a city block on the first floor.  Please, please make it a Cheesecake Factory and not the world's largest nail salon, bank, liquor store combo.  Now if there was ever a place where this behemoth all in one manicure, money machine, Makers Mark mall would do well, it would be Hoboken.   Hey, I'll get my nails done while picking out some wine....
