When the Lights Go Out in Fairfield... Unfortunately in the last 10 years I've had my share of power outages in Fairfield, New Jersey but only two were major outages.  The first one was October 29, 2011.  I'll never forget it - it was day of my 40th birthday party and a historic nor'easter buried us! Power lines were down on my road caught fire and our power was cut along with half of the town's, including the VFW hall where we were to celebrate my 40th.  Fortunately enough I have good friends who did have power and we moved the birthday bash to their home.  Our power was out in Fairfield for at least 5 days. Hurricane Sandy ripped through New Jersey with a vengeance.  Once again leaving many homes in Fairfield without power for over a week! So what do you do when the lights go out in F...

Sometimes you have to think Out of the Box…The pizza box that is! Many of us try think out of the box, be creative and unique when marketing our listings and even ourselves.  I’ve heard of using a string of keywords relevant to the hottest gossip topic or there was one rental in Fairfield where the agent described it as the home Wolverine once lived in.  I’m still shaking my head over that one! Below is only a glimpse but you can read the full Wolverine description here.   But today  is the first time I heard of offering a free pizza to the buyers who purchase the home!  In case you missed it, read the full story, "Home Won't Sell? Offer a Pizza With the Purchase". Maybe I should team up with Hollywood Pizzeria & Restaurant and get some homes in Fairfield SOLD! It may not top Wolverine...

The most current Fairfield New Jersey Real Estate Information can be found at Fairfield New Jersey's Real Estate Facebook Page.   The Garden State Multiple Listing Service has a "Hotsheets" feature.  This feature enables an agent to focus on their market area by selecting which towns appear on their Hotsheets.  An agent at any time can click on their current hotsheets and instantly know what homes have been listed, sold, marked under contract or expired.  Talk about instant access!  Many consumers receive autoemails that have been set up by a real estate agent based upon your criteria and these emails go out once a day but unfortunately they go out the next day.  The difference with autoemail vs. the most current Fairfield New Jersey Real Estate Information is that you don't have to wai...

Not only can you get hot bread every hour on the hour at Calandra's Plaza on Route 46 East, in Fairfield, you can now enjoy a lil smores and a lil Kohr's in Fairfield New Jersey.  I'm all about dessert!  If I had a choice I'd skip dinner and go right to dessert which is why I'm so excited about the new delish desserts in Fairfield New Jersey.  You can enjoy a lil smores and a lil Kohr's dessert in Fairfield, New Jersey.  I was disappointed when Family Gourmet Burger in Fairfield went out of business.  It was family owned and operated burger place but when I saw the familiar sign of Kohr's coming soon in the window I was ecstatic!  In this area of New Jersey, you can only find the Famous Kohr's ice cream and custard on the boardwalk at the jersey shore and now Kohr's is in Fairfield, New...
