For those of you old enough, and from the New York City / New Jersey area.  Here is a blast from the past.  This was my stomping ground for all of my childhood.  Growing up in the shadow, beneath the magnificent Palisades Amusement Park in a small, little blue collar factory, river town, called Edgewater, NJ, right across from the skyscrapers of Manhattan.  We used to sneak into the park everyday after school and con our way onto the rides.  (At least we thought we were so smart)  Swim in the salt water pool.  It was truly a great time to be a kid.  The sights, the people, the sounds, the smells.  WOW!!  I can still recall the smell of the mixture of all the different food stands.  The big top circus with clown extraordinaire, Emmett Kelly.
