Seeing the news, so I can get updates on when the electric would come on! 7.) Cooking Dinner 8.) Holiday Baking 9.) Doing Laundry in MY house! 10.) Sleeping with less than 10 lbs of blankets on me! Now it is Back - and I can finally enjoy all of these things again! It is hard to believe that it took so long to get electricity back in Nashua! Single Family Home Sales for November 2008 December 18, 2008 by Lisa Waller-Gage, RE/MAX Properties, 603-440-8486, Lisawaller@remax.net The Northern New England Real Estate Network reported that in the month of November, 2008, 29 Single Family homes sold. The homes that sold in October sold for prices ranging from $65,000 to $575,000. The average price was $252,256 and the average days on the market were reported as 94, they sold for an average of 93% list to sales price ratio. According to a report generated by Trendgraphix, during the month of November, the absorption rate, i.e., months of inventory that Nashua had on the market in relation to closed sales was 8.7 months. Trendgraphix data also revealed that during the month of October, there were 253 single family homes listed for sale.

It's been since Thursday night (about 9:30 pm) since we've had power in South Nashua.  The First night wasn't too bad, since the house was still warm.  But by morning things had changed significantly.  I got up around 8:00 am to check on things.  When I got to the back side of the house, it was F-R-E-E-Z-I-N-G!!  At first thought, I figured it was just because that was the addition that built on a crawl space and abutted the garage.  But as I stood in the hallway assessing the situation, I realized I was feeling a fast moving draft.  I opened the door to my son's room to find him missing , and a large tree limb through the window.  There was glass shattered and scattered everywhere!  I was glad to find my son fine and sleeping in the basement, and no squirrels in my home.  I guess the l...

Luxury Homes Sales in Nashua, NH for October 2008 November 7, 2008 by Lisa Waller-Gage of RE/MAX Properties, Offices in Hollis and Nashua, NH Nashua, NH, was the home to two luxury home sales in October 2008. 8 Kendall Way of Hadley Woods in Nashua, NH, sold for $575,000, it was listed for $599,900 and was on the market for 276 days, and 34 days under contract.  The sale closed on October 8, 2008. 4 Victoria Drive of South Nashua, NH sold for $610,000.  It was listed for $679,000, it was on the market for 137 days and was 23 days under contract.  The sale closed on October 31, 2008. Nashua NH Real Estate Market Report - October 2008 Single Family Homes Sold The number of single family homes sold in Nashua, NH during the month of October decreased from 40 sold (2007)to 37 homes sold in 2008. The average selling price increased from $284,844 (2007) to $298,379 in 2008.  The average DOM (Days on Market) was comparable with 106 days to 103 in 2007. Condominiums Sold The number of condos sold in Nashua, NH during the month of October increased dramatically from 24 sold (2007) to 44 units sold in 2008.
