Single Family Home Sales for November 2008 December 18, 2008 by Lisa Waller-Gage, RE/MAX Properties, 603-440-8486, Lisawaller@remax.net The Northern New England Real Estate Network reported that in the month of November, 2008, 29 Single Family homes sold. The homes that sold in October sold for prices ranging from $65,000 to $575,000. The average price was $252,256 and the average days on the market were reported as 94, they sold for an average of 93% list to sales price ratio. According to a report generated by Trendgraphix, during the month of November, the absorption rate, i.e., months of inventory that Nashua had on the market in relation to closed sales was 8.7 months. Trendgraphix data also revealed that during the month of October, there were 253 single family homes listed for sale. 12/17/2008

It's been since Thursday night (about 9:30 pm) since we've had power in South Nashua.  The First night wasn't too bad, since the house was still warm.  But by morning things had changed significantly.  I got up around 8:00 am to check on things.  When I got to the back side of the house, it was F-R-E-E-Z-I-N-G!!  At first thought, I figured it was just because that was the addition that built on a crawl space and abutted the garage.  But as I stood in the hallway assessing the situation, I realized I was feeling a fast moving draft.  I opened the door to my son's room to find him missing , and a large tree limb through the window.  There was glass shattered and scattered everywhere!  I was glad to find my son fine and sleeping in the basement, and no squirrels in my home.  I guess the l... 12/15/2008
