Farmington New Hampshire Foreclosures, Short Sales and Bank Owned Homes for Sale Purchasing property at a Farmington NH foreclosure auction has many risks to a potential buyer and in most cases the bank will bid and take possession of the property at the auction. The property is then referred to as bank owned, REO (real estate owned) or foreclosed property. A home owner may attempt a "short sale" whereby the bank agrees to accept less than the mortgage balance based on the owner's hardship and financial status. Obtaining approval can be a long and difficult process. Additionally, there is no assurance that the lender will accept an offer at or above the listed price. Register at Farmington NH foreclosures (bank-owned) listings and short sale opportunities. We will contact you and provid...

Spring has arrived in New Hampshire recently, and for me, that means several things.  First, it the end of a long, busy winter.  Second, it means new plants and crops are being tended to. A local favorite for my family, Butternut Farm, located in Farmington New Hampshire.  They offer some of the best quality fruits and vegetables in the area.  Butternut Farm is a pick your own farm with the option to also purchase produce from the farm stand.  The selections of fruits includes, strawberries, raspberries, apples, peaches, plums, and blueberries.  They offer tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, and even have a very large pumpkin patch!          Usually opening in June, the fruit schedule is as follows: Strawberries...........mid June-early July   Raspberries................................

Hay day in Farmington NH In times of yesteryear, many farming communities would gather together and help one another to harvest the various crops grown in the community.  This was long hard work that was commonly done by all members of the family, the old fashioned way.  Often times at the end of the harvest, people would gather together and have a celebration to express gratitude toward one another and simply to celebrate the "fruits" of their labor.  Sometimes this was called harvest day.  In Farmington, NH we celebrate Hay Day.  Having been a resident of Farmington for over 5 years now, I've been able to enjoy several of these events and must say that although they are not a result of celebrating a harvest, they are still very much a celebration of community.  It's nice to go out and...
