 Waxhaw | Weddington | Marvin (28173 Zip Code) Housing Market Snapshot: May 2019The Waxhaw area of the Charlotte, North Carolina metro area (the 28173 zip code–encompassing the three towns of Waxhaw, Marvin and Weddington) continued to see tight inventory (dropping 24.7% year-over-year) and a continued decrease (down 10.6%) in new listings year-over-year. With continued tight inventory, fewer new listings, and just 3 motnhs of inventory, Waxhaw area remains a seller’s market. Waxhaw | Weddington | Marvin Housing Market Update: February 2019Waxhaw Housing Market Update for February 2019. The Waxhaw area of Charlotte, North Carolina's metro area (the 28173 zip code–encompassing the three towns of Waxhaw, Marvin and Weddington) continued to see tight inventory and no increases in new listings which impacted sales negatively. The months supply of homes in February decreased by almost a full month since January 2019. While closed sales were down 20%, overall, closed sales of resale homes were down only 2%. Days on market continue to decrease in the first two months of 2019.
