Wow!  The Holidays have caused the time to really slip by me since my last posting. Area stats among nation's best", columnist Allen Norwood brings out some very interesting details. There are so many subdivisions in Union county, it is hard to get to them all. Especially since we are the 15th fastest growing county in America and #1 in all of North Carolina! Named after an area Indian tribe, the town of Waxhaw is as historic as it is picturesque.  Waxhaw in fact is a national historic district, offering visitors a rare glimpse into southern history.
