Latest news on the Waxhaw | Weddington | Marvin real estate markets in October 2021 and what it means for you...  The Waxhaw area of the Charlotte, North Carolina metro area (the 28173 zip code–encompassing the three towns of Waxhaw, Marvin and Weddington) saw continued declines in inventory, declines in pending and closed sales, declines in new listings, declines in days on market in October 2021 versus October 2020. The only increases we saw were home prices, which increased year-over-year. Lack of inventory is certainly impacting sales volume in the 28173 zip code. Average days on market decreased 20 days (down 43.5%) to 26 days year-over-year.  Median days on market were 6 days in October, down one day year-over-year and down 32 days from two years ago in October. Continued tight in...

 Somerset Neighborhood in Waxhaw, NCReal Estate Report & Community SpotlightQuarter 3 - 2021 In the 3rd Quarter 2021, 10 homes sold in the Somerset neighborhood, equal to the number of homes sold in the same quarter of the previous year. Two fewer homes sold in Quarter 3 - 2021 versus Quarter 2 - 2021. New listings were also flat year-over-year with eight new listings in each of the third quarters.  Median listing and sale prices increased compared with the Third Quarter 2020.  Average selling price was $587,981, increasing 36.87% year-over-year.  Latest news on the Waxhaw | Weddington | Marvin real estate markets in July 2021 and what it means for you...   The Waxhaw area of the Charlotte, North Carolina metro area (the 28173 zip code–encompassing the three towns of Waxhaw, Marvin and Weddington) continued to see tight inventory (dropping 66.3% year-over-year) in July 2021, accompanied by a drop in new listings of 18.0%, as well. This resulted in home prices increasing 38.1% year-over-year. (And that's after a 26.9% increase in June 2021.) Average days on market saw a drop of 72,5%, decreasing 37 days to 14 days year-over-year.
