Seriously, how do you get the address for your listing WRONG??? I'm sure we have all made the occasional typo here and there when entering a listing in to the MLS and had to quickly edit the listing (been there, done that!), but to get the address wrong??? Really??? I've griped before about how my subdivision has been titled incorrectly by other agents. Even the residents don't always get it right. But getting the street name wrong is just....well, WRONG! People are trusting us with one of the most important and stressful aspects of their finances- helping them sell what is likely their biggest investment. I think the LEAST we can do is advertise the correct address! When all else fails, email the listing to your client and/or to a fellow agent. (BTW - Agent gets a free pass if they did...

And the really good news is....their coffee ROCKS!!!   I was very pleasantly surprised. The customer service is wonderful and friendly (Jennifer was a joy to chat with) and unique, to say the least. I have never before been asked to try my coffee before leaving to make sure I liked it - WOW! The coffee is smooth and has no bitter after-taste (whew!)! And I also have to point out that while the coffee is nowhere near cold or even just luke-warm, you can actually drink it right away and not have to wait half an hour for it to cool off. I give this great new local business two thumbs up!! Jennifer informed me that there will be events throughout the summer. So stay tuned as I promise to keep you all posted! Hours of Operation:Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 6:00pmSaturday: 7:00am - 6:00pmSunday:...

Don't fret my little Rolesville home owner wannabe's...there are still homes for sale in my amazing town! Ok, it isn't MY town in the sense of me owning it. (Despite my dreams...or hallucinations, whichever you care to think of them as.) But as my previous posts have probably already indicated, I have such a great sense of pride in my little town. This time of year brings it out even more in me. Christmas decorations hung on the street signs. Santa in the Park. Christmas tree lots on every corner.                                                            Ahhh I digress...but you get the idea. If you want to be a part of this wonderful community, you have your choice of 78 homes to choose from! Prices range from $119,000 to $1,250,000. Of the 78 homes currently for sale, 29 are new...

It had to be done and, by golly, I finally did it!!! As I have posted before, I live in a tiny little town called Rolesville (just outside of Raleigh and Wake Forest). The subdivision I live in is:                                                              That reads the Village at Rolesville. Yet I repeatedly hear and see the Villages (all of a sudden plural) OF Rolesville. And it drives me INSANE!!! Are there more important issues going on in the world, even in my life, yes. But this one had to be addressed when I saw it was incorrectly referred to as the Villages of Rolesville in the local paper, The Rolesville Buzz (which is a really awesome publication by the way!).   So I emailed the Publisher to let him know of the error. And to my pleasure, (and shock) he responded far more qu...

Ok I finally found my little town. If, and only if, I click on Wake County, does Active Rain FINALLY list Rolesville as a Top City. They list Five Points, which isn't even actually a city but an AREA, but they don't list Rolesville??? Yeah, yeah...I know....we're a teeny tiny town and we aren't "inside the beltline." But that's one of the things that makes it so GREAT! Only in my great town of Rolesville can I: borrow the car shop manager's truck (Bill at Pete Smith - you rock!) so I can go to a closing while my car is being repaired; spend 15 minutes or so chatting away with people at the Food Lion about the real estate market; get my Mac N Cheese snacks reserved in the freezer at Sonic (it's been a year but still loving you for that Mitch!)...you get the idea. Rolesville - you're a TO...

Ok so it has been awhile since I have bragged on my little town...please forgive me as I gush and make up for it now! As Rolesville has been continuing to grow, we have made strong efforts to market our "little town" to neighboring communities like Raleigh and Wake Forest. Mission accomplished!! For starters, with the opening of the Granite Falls Swim & Athletic Club, Rolesville is really on the map! Residents are coming from Raleigh, Wake Forest, Zebulon, Wendell, and Youngsville (just to name a few) to join this prestigous club that has it all: indoor and outdoor swimming pools, exercise facility, outdoor lazy river, and a Kid Zone that kids actually love to come to! While Rolesville isn't lacking in great places to eat and shop, it still offers the familiarity of actually knowing the...

I have been a resident of Rolesville for a little over two years now. How did it happen? A Realtor friend of mine had mentioned a Broker Open House in a certain community, The Village at Rolesville. The luncheon was being catered by Lady Fingers, which I love. And we all know how Realtors love a good, free meal anyways! Well, let me just say, that was the most expensive "free" meal I have ever had! LOL When you consider that I see, on average, 30 homes a month...I never expected to go to a Broker Open House and fall in love with a home myself! I wasn't even thinking about moving! But the model home was all I could think about after the luncheon. I went back to visit...several times in one week. The floor plan, the upgrades included, I just loved everything about it! I HAD to have it! So...

What a great piece of property that I ran by today. It is called Fantasy Lake. It is surrounded by rocks all around this lake. It is not a lake that residence will be on. You will not have your own boat dock on this lake. This lake is breath taking. It is so blue that you know it does not have the mud, clay bottom. As I was driving by I had to take a moment and take in the view of the gorgeous blue water. This lake is surrounded by a fence which is something else that caught my eye. Why would someplace so beautiful need a fence around it. Then I drove by the from gate with a sign advertising for you Scuba needs. This place in the middle of no where is for people who want to scuba dive. I was in awe.It is a must check out place if you are interested in scuba diving. I have attached the w...
