I would like for someone to share with me, how to hook up with the lenders that will work with me on foreclosures and short sales. Seems like some agents get all of that business and I want to learn how to break into that market.   I can not believe that I am getting close to 500,000 point.  This has been true learning experience for me when I started with Active Rain in 2009.  I am not one of the STARS but I am persistent in my endeavors to learn more about this real estate business that I have chosen to be in for the past 32 years,    Just celebrated my 65th Birthday yesterday and want to continue to learn.   Has this happened to you.  I don't know about you all, but I am having a harder time pleasing the BPO folks. I am giving them factual information based on our local MLS and the figures tell the truth. They are wanting us to go back and get closer comparable properties When nothing has sold in that area you must go outside that community to find comparable to do the analysis. I am also finding, after I have done the work...the order has been canceled and I am left holding a finished report, the cost of the gas to do it and the cost of the labor to prepare it.  What a bummer   Then, we have spent our time and energy to do the work and will not be compensated for it. Well it took about 3 hours to cook and process but it is done. From the figs that we picked, we were able to put up 8 pints and 3 1/2 pints. That is a good days job. Well, Today was my first experience with the Small Claim Court System.  We had a friend of my Brother in Law who needed a place to stay as she started a business.  We agreed to charge her a minimal rate to live in our condo on a month to month basis with no formal lease.  (It was verbal).    She refuses to leave our unit and this has been going on  for 3 months.The clincer here is that she has pets in our condo and we have just learned that they should not be in the unit.  The association is charging us $100 a day for the pets being in the condo.  Right now our Bill with the Association is over $10,000 and we still can not get this tenant out. Today the judge did evict the tenant and she has 10 days to dispute this eviction.  So we are still tied up and the $100 day fine is still  click... 09/18/2012

Subject: How to Read Bar Codes on Food . . .  This is very interesting & good to know as a safeguard.    ALWAYS READ THE LABELS ON THE FOODS YOU BUY--NO MATTER WHAT THE FRONT OF THE BOX OR PACKAGE SAYS, TURN IT OVER AND READ THE BACK---CAREFULLY! With all the food and pet products now coming from China , it is best to make sure you read labels at the grocery store and especially Walmart when buying food products. Many products no longer show where they were made, only give where the distributor is located. It is important to read the bar code to track it's origin. How to read Bar Codes .... American National Parks by Ken Burns Recently we  watched a documentary of American  National  Parks by Ken  Burns.  What a great program. If you are interested in National Parks of our Country...many of the Public Broadcasting  Stations are re-running this series by Ken Burns I am excited with the photography and history of them. Today was the day after Thanksgiving with many of the family still staying with us. So for Breakfast, we had fresh sausage and pancakes with good maple syrup and molasses.. After breakfast, we started projects to recoup from the day that we had yesterday. You know the deal! Clothes that had to be washed and more food to prepare. I love it.....what more can I say.
