Two Parks in Downtown Matthews NC--A Video Tour Matthews NC has five parks that enhance the walkability of the downtown and its nearby residential neighborhoods.  One of these parks in the Four Mile Creek Greenway, which has two miles of paved trails along the creek.  The Greenway loops through another of the downtown parks, Squirrel Lake Park.
