Rich in history, North Carolina's Marvin has many wonderful and humorous stories to tell. Passed down from generation to generation, beginning during the civil war and ending in a battle over pocket watches and hundreds of thousands of dollars, there are so many stories that touch both the white and black community of Marvin, back then and now. They were taken care of by a black man and then by his daughter when she became old enough. These sisters were cousins to the governor at the time, but that is neither here nor there. The sisters were very kind and wanted to give the man and his daughter something when they passed away, so the wrote identical wil...
