Animal Rescue Survives Storm in Indian Trail, NC just southeast of Charlotte, NC. I was reading the Union County Weekly this evening and found this very interesting article.  I had no idea that there was a rescue group for Carolina Waterfowl.  This non-profit rescue group is located at 220 Garmon Road in Indian Trail, NC. The article shared how cold weather drives birds out of their normal habitats.  They went on to share how someone had brought in a barred owl, a mallard duck and a Canada goose.  They also related that the biggest threat is to birds who find their ponds and lakes iced over like the blue herons and swans.  These birds start wandering around and are at great risk. Indian Trail NC Real Estate Market Report—July-September 2010 How did the Indian Trail NC real estate market fare in the third quarter of 2010 and how does 2010 market activity compare with 2009? In the third quarter 2010, the average sales price in Indian Trail NC tumbled 11% from the second quarter 2010 and 13% from the 2009 average sales price.  The number of homes sold in the third quarter was a little more than half those sold during the second quarter.  There were no townhome or condominium sales in the third quarter.  These numbers most likely reflect slower sales after the end of the federal tax credit.
