On this coming Tuesday; Election Day; the citizens of Holly Springs have a very important decision to make!  They have to decide whether or not to approve a $20 Million Bond.     The citizens will not be choosing exactly which parks and recreation project is approved but rather that they are giving the town their permission to take on the additional debt that is dedicated to improving parks and recreation areas for the town.    The town’s position is “We could buy park land before it becomes more costly. We could build tennis courts and gymnasiums. Rex Healthcare is going to hold Forums on Holly Springs Hospital Plans Rex Healthcare will hold forums Oct. 20 and Oct. 22 to update citizens on its plans for a hospital in Holly Springs.The forums will be held at Holly Springs Cultural Center at 300 W. Ballentine St., a block from Town Hall. Both forums will have the same information. Mortgage markets improved in roller coaster-like trading last week. And, not surprisingly, the week's two big stories were the same two stories roiling mortgage markets since March - Greece and Jobs. In both instances, rate shoppers won. Conforming mortgage rates in Florida improved for the first time in 3 weeks last week. Early in the week, mortgage rates fell as doubts resurfaced on the just-completed Greece aid package. Although an agreement had been reached by the Greek Parliament, investors are wondering if it's a bona fide solution, or delaying an inevitable default. Talk like this triggers a flight-to-quality, and last week, it led mortgage rates lower. Then, mid-week, a strong preview of the Friday jobs report led to a reversal. Windcrest - Holly Springs NC Windcrest Subdivision in Holly Springs NC located just off Main Street Built by KB homes, Windcrest is in a great location.  They have a neighborhood pool, sidewalks, and close to walking/biking trails.  There's a nice pond and duck to feed.  Some exercise stations in the official "Veterans Park".  The lots in Windcrest are not large - but that makes it so convenient to meet all the neighbors...cul-de-sac parties.  Halloween fun!
