I can't begin to tell you how grateful we are to have such a awesome Recreation Center in our Fayetteville, NC area. The Stoney Point Recreation Center in the Jack Britt School District, has provided years of experience and fun to our family . Over the past 8 years, my two children have played back to back seasons of indoor and outdoor soccer. With my son and daughter a year apart in age, they had the opportunity, every other year, to play on the same teams. They will never forget the experiences and lessons they learned while playing on these teams as well as the friends that they have made. Thank you to the coaches of these teams, they are all volunteers who give up their time to make this available to our children. I just signed my son up for his last year of indoor soccer. My daug...

Countryside Gymnastic In Fayetteville NCStarting our daughter out in Countryside Gymnastic in Fayetteville, NC was hands down, the best thing my husband and I did when she was around 2 years old. We thought about the different sports programs that were offered in Fayetteville, NC and decided that she was too young to start most of them according to the age restrictions. Countryside Gymnastic in Fayetteville, NC has a program that allows toddlers to start out as early as 18 months old! Yes, it’s a Parent & Me program, but an amazing way to bond with your child and start introducing your little one to fine and gross motor skills. We started to notice she had the physical attributes to be a gymnast. We knew she would love it and possible be very good at it. She was always climbing, jumping,...

Yes, 2013 is still a great time to buy Real Estate in Fayetteville, NC...Why you ask? There are a lots of reason but a few of the top reasons to buy a home now are: Interest rates are still low, but experts say they won’t stay low forever. Lower interest rates means your mortgage payments will be lower! The same priced home at 5% interest is going to be a higher payment than at 3.5%. This means often times you can get a bigger/more expensive home when you have a lower interest rate!Homes are more affordable now than ever! In many   instances, you will pay less for the home you purchase than if you rented the same type/size home. In the Fayetteville area, rents have continued to creep up and will continue to do so with such a high demand in our area for rentals. If you are waiting until ...

The stress of moving has not happened in a couple years for me since I separated from serving my country in the military, yet I can relate to the disruption in my life with just a little move from one office to another in the same building. Having to go through all the junk that I have stored up over time, can be very tedious and boring. It’s always a great way to get a fresh start and a new chapter of your next journey. Plus, as my husband likes to say I’m a  “packrat”, he could be right. It’s always great to have a PCS moving checklist to help make the stress of moving to Fayetteville a little bit easier for you and your family.                                    It’s a great time to donate items that have not been used or sitting in boxes for a long time, maybe some since your last m...

FAYETTEVILLE NC NEW HOMES FOR SALE FAQ - CAN I GET A BETTER DEAL WITHOUT A BUYER’S AGENT?Q: Will builders give Buyers a better deal or discounts on a new home for sale in Fayetteville NC when the Buyer does not have an agent?A: Here is the quick answer:NO!It seems that somewhere along the line, Buyers were led to believe that they would get a better deal on a new home purchase by stating that they did not have a Buyer's Agent, and then signing the registration book provided by the helpful sales agent on duty (who happens to work on behalf of the builder). THIS IS NOT TRUE, mainly due to the fact that new home prices in Fayetteville NC are firmly set with the sales agent commissions already factored in, so price reductions are not going to happen. But don’t just take my word for it. Try t...

However, just because the process can be tasking, you can make it less stressful and emotional by avoiding the Top 4 Mistakes That Fayetteville NC Home Buyers Make as listed below. #4: NOT UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRE-QUALIFICATION AND A LOAN COMMITMENT In far too many instances, a Buyer will think that because they are pre-qualified to get a home loan, everything is a go, only to discover after making an offer on a home that they cannot purchase anything. Looking for a new construction home in Fayetteville NC and the surrounding area?Looking at new construction homes in Fayetteville NC can be a lot of fun... Thinking of what you are going to do to make that house your home is a very exciting time!! Whenever I have a little free time on my hands, doesn't happen often lately, I like to go to new construction neighborhoods and look at the homes. I like to know the inventory and what neighborhoods have to offer.Since I look at homes ALL the time, and love every minute of it, it takes a lot to get my attention because I have seen it before, etc...While I was out today viewing a few homes in anticipation of a new client coming this week that doesn't have a ton of time I viewed a home that REALLY impressed me!
