  This last Sunday I was trying to finish my daughters Halloween costume when there was a knock at our door. My 12 year old son opened and all of a sudden there was an 11year old child that made way into our livingroom. He had a  white t-shirt, blue jeans and only one shoe on and was asking for something to eat. After leading him to our kitchen and having him take a couple of bananas from our fruit bowl, I had already asked him if he needed help, his name and where did he live. Well he knew his name but not his address and wanted to leave after I had suggested we call the police and after thanking me for the bananas. By this time I had already noticed that he had some type of mental disorder and was not willing to let him go just like that. He said he did not want to go home and wanted ...

The drought in Durham NC has gotten to the point that people in Durham have been asked to STOP watering their yards. You can still drip water or carry buckets on Saturday from 5 am to 8 am and 5 pm to 8 pm. Durham uses more that 25 million gallons a day. In Septmeber they were hoping by limiting the days of watering that the water comsumption will go down. It did but not enough so the restrictions just got tighter.
