Beverly Woods is a SouthPark community that was developed and built by John Crosland in the 1960's and 1970's.  Beverly Woods Charlotte NC is known for its incredible location as well as the spacious, wooded lots with mature landscaping.  The streets and homes are canopied by beautiful old oak trees.  You're sure to find a home you'll love as there are a wide variety of home styles in this neighborhood that were popular in the 1960 decade:  ranches, split levels, two stories, and mult-level homes. The Beverly Woods neighborhood is a highly sought-after community that is situated between Sharon & Park Roads, just south of Fairview at the SouthPark Mall.  The Harris YMCA & Phillips Place are just around the corner as well.   Those who want to live in a close-in area with GREAT school assi...

Search homes for sale in Charlotte Although there are a lot of homes for sale in Charlotte knowing each neighborhood intimately is important to finding a home you'll want to keep for years.  Some of the things home buyers consider are schools, proximity to stores, proximity to highways, age of homes in the area, future zoning and planning etc.  Hiring an agent that knows these areas intimately will save you time and frustration.  Mortgage rates are low. Time is running out before we begin to see mortgage rates rise.  North Carolina is seeing record numbers of relocations which is driving up real estate values quickly.  Therefore I recommend you request a list of Charlotte's top agents from us.  Being in the business we know what to look for in a professional agent.  An agent th...

Charlotte NC Ranks Well on Housing/Economic Recovery Lists Charlotte NC was the golden child of the Carolinas during the 1990s and the boom years after 2000.  Plentiful jobs, reasonable housing prices, low taxes and great weather lead to high growth and prosperity for the Queen City.  The economic slowdown came late to Charlotte but the financial meltdown in the fall of 2008 brought the national economic crisis home. Have the financial meltdown and the resulting Great Recession knocked Charlotte NC off its golden perch?  Perhaps not.  Forbes Magazine recently published three articles that ranked American cities in terms of their prospects for recovery and liveability.  Charlotte fares pretty well on each of these lists. In December, Forbes looked at cities recovering fastest from the fo...

"I'm not making any money.  The economy is killing my firm.  I'd be lying if I said I wasn't in anything but survival mode at this point.  My New Year's resolution this year is to be able to make a 2011 resolution with a roof still over my head."  (Charlotte business owner) "Creativity without implementation is irresponsibility."  (Ted Leavitt at the Harvard Business School) "In a typical game we want to have between 90 and 105 possessions, and we try to get that number up as high as we can, because if I'm better than you are, the more possessions we play, the more likely it is that I'm going to beat you.  If I play golf against Tiger Woods for one hole I might beat him, but over 18 holes, I have no chance."  (University of North Carolina Basketball Coach, Roy Williams, from Hard Work:...

Charlotte, NC How Charlotte Real Estate Has Changed, Your City Too? 5 Dead Assumptions in 2010 "Everything's changing, Everything has already changed," said the character of General Cornwallis, at the end of the popular movie The Patriot, as he surrendered his forces facing annihilation at the hands of the Colonials under George Washington, the French Navy and according to the movie, Mel Gibson's band of "merry" Carolina militia... And he was right. The Battle of Yorktown ended the decade long Revolutionary war, evicted the British from American soil, and provided the example that would eventually lead colonial people around the globe to end the British Empire over the next 2 centuries. The changes in the real estate world brought about by the Great Recession of 2008-9 won't have the po...

Prospect will be making the first draw on Streamlined k loans after the first of January. No more waiting 90 days for the first draw from that other lender. That is correct. My last streamlined k with the other lender was 90 days to get the first half of the money to get the contractor started... the job will be completed just 2 weeks after the borrower received the first half of the money. Nightmare city. M
