I usually Blog everyday and enjoy reading others Blogs. I have been fortunate enough to work face to face with sellers today.  I had listed one of their lots and they were going to take it off the market.  I did some research for them and suggested that they leave that lot on the market...because it can't sell if no one knows it is for sale..They then asked to see if I would list one of their other lots.  They are excited to sell and we priced it at the lowest price in the community.There is stuff happening...Thanks,Ginger Harper800-346-7671gingerharper@seacoastrealty.com 05/11/2015

Opportunity time  for me.Well, I find myself having Duty Day today.  (A better way to say Opportunity Time).  Actually I have been enjoying it.  It is the first exposure that your company makes when some one calls on the phone or walks through the door. Tonight we are enjoying the The Three Tenors. It is absolutely fabulous,   Carreras, Domingo and Pavoratti.. I think this is the first one that was preformed in 1991 and is on PBS...Public Broadcasting System. Zubin Mater is the director.  It is most wonderful... I have listed and sold real estate since 1983 and each time I go to a workshop like this, I learn something new or remember that something that I used to do...works...   When times are slow, I like to do the BPO's and REO's in the area and learn more about the newer communities. I think that they more BPO's and REO's that you do, you are becoming more comfortable in different communities that you may not know as well. So I am asking your help. Re-blogged by 0 agents I would like for someone to share with me, how to hook up with the lenders that will work with me on foreclosures and short sales. Seems like some agents get all of that business and I want to learn how to break into that market. I will be taking the short sale course soon and want to be successful in the depressed market along the North Carolina coast... It is picking up some but I need to keep busy.       09/19/2013

Tonight we are watching a documentary of American  National  Parks by Ken  Burns.  What a great program If you are interested in National Parks of our Country...join us on PSB tonight. I am excited with the photography and history of them. It looks very interesting right now.  I have seen this before but enjoy it time and time again.. Showing Property today.. This is what we do ... Right? I had a great morning showing 3rd floor units to a delightful couple with 2 small precious children. It is great fun to get out and meet with folks to see what their needs are.  I enjoyed working with this couple and the children were very well behaved. They love the area and our prices are so affordable right now, with interest rates as low as they are right now. I think that our most important job is to match people with properties. Depending on how long you have been in the real estate business can determine "The Way it Was".   I began my career in the Southport ~ Oak Island of North Carolina in 1983.  I had been a corporate secretary and the owners decided that I would probably be a better sales person than a secretary.  I was a single mom raising 2 daughters, 12 and 18.  (That is a full time job by itself)   IN the beginning of my experience, there were two contracts that we needed to know.  The "Listing Contract" and the "Offer to Purchase Contract".  Each of the contracts consisted of ONE page.  WE did not have copy machines and fax machine or computer for the most part.    WE had to put a piece of carbon paper between each sheet and bare down real hard for it to make the image on the next page down.  If you m... 04/04/2013

  WE have the most beautiful sunset over Beaver Dam Creek in Southport NC.  It is always beautiful at this time of the year.  Getting warm enough to go out and sit and watch this all take place.  We enjoy the Ibis, Herons, Cranes, and gulls on the end of the dock.  Sometimes we have the  otters to come up in the creek and frolick around as though we never existed.    We have kayaks in the water to scoot around in the creek. What a glorious place to live. We never get tired of our view but if we should.. we go and walk on the ocean. Our beaches are still undeserted and we can enjoy the shore with all of the living things that live there. STILL ONE OF NORTH CAROLINA'S BEST KEPT SECRETS!   Come and see yourself! 04/02/2013

I see this word popping up everywhere..and I don't know what it is.   Need some help in understanding it.  My Daughter has a cat named MoJo.  Someone told me that they were looking for their MoJo,  Others have mentioned that they lost their MoJo. I looked it up in the dictionary and there was not a word MoJo.  Maybe I am misspelling it.    I think that "o" are long right? ..so it is pronounced MooooooJooooooo..  Not Moo for the sound a cow makes..   If you can share any light on this subject for me...please do. 11/18/2012
