Spending quality time with his father, older sister, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, in-laws and very close friends.I have always realized that when ever we visit and or spend time in areas we were born and raised, our minds race with memories of when we were very young and growing up! In fact look what Vegas Bob came across on the wall at his sister's home, an old photograph of Robert Swetz when he was about 1 year old with his sister that was 5.OMG ... Was Vegas Bob really this young? Wow I don't believe it ;o)

Here is the Local Market Report Blog for August 2014 in Minnetonka provided by MinnetonkaExperts.com.  It shows the following statistics for 2014 from 2013 (Data from MAAR): New listings up .8% with inventory for sale up 25.8% Closed Sales – SOLD properties are down 3.9% The median sales price is down 1% while the average sales price is down 2.69%, the average price per sq foot sold down slightly at 1.5% to $139/sq ft. After lamenting the shortage of affordable one-level townhomes and condos lately I find I will have one of each listing this week in Minnetonka. As I was spending time in the area I was reminded how Minnetonka has a more rural, almost lake-like/farming feel even though it is only a second ring suburb to Minneapolis. In fact, as late as the 1960s, Minnetonka still had many farms, greenhouses and horse pastures. Here's good news for future buyers of Minnetonka homes for sale with recent history of bankruptcy or other financial downturns.  FHA releases its "Back to Work - Extenuating Circumstances Mortgage Program". This program is applicable for FHA cases dated after August 15, 2013. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA), a division of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, has waived its three-year waiting period for foreclosures. Lake Minnetonka home owners, it is time for some good news. The Lake Minnetonka Real estate market is continuing to show some great numbers.  According to Infosparks through the NorthstarMLS, the month’s supply of homes for sale is down 30.4% from March of 2011. That is an unbelievable drop of homes for sale. In March of 2011 we had 11.3 Months of supply of homes for sale in Lake Minnetonka area. In March of 2012 we had 7.9 months of supply. Now the overall picture shows the month’s supply of homes for sale has dropped 17.7% from the previous 12 months.
