Whitehall, MI  is a unique blend of old-fashioned small town and progressive, full-service city. Whitehall is located in northern Muskegon County, five miles from the Lake Michigan coastline on White Lake. Although much of its economy is tourist-related, especially it's extended marina on the lake; it also contains some small businesses and manufacturing facilities. It is a commuter town to the greater Muskegon area just ten miles to the south.  My personal favorite thing to do in the Whitehall area  is a bike ride along the scenic well groomed bike trails and a pit stop at the famous Dog-n-Suds Diner for a Chili dog and throw back a  famous A&W root beer. All within 2 miles of Lake Michigan! Walking distance from county park. Quiet wooded area. Whitehall school district. Boiler heat. To directly access this property, use this shortcut: http://www.fizber.com/michigan-buy-single-family-home-11647035.html

The water levels on Lake Michigan and White Lake are down this winter.  Many sandbars appeared this fall and the ice is building up especially on the bars.  Does this mean there is more land for sale??
