I was over in Monroe, Michigan about a month ago visiting some friends and I looked across a parking lot and saw this sunset.  I snapped a photo with my HTC EVO, and forgot about it.  I came across it the other day, and thought this was just too beautiful to not share on my blog.  I hope you all have a wonderful day.

A day on the farm. I have always lived in the city. My first home had a lot size of 100' x 300' and I felt comfy. Then when I moved into my next home and the lot size was 55' X 110', I almost went into a panic mode. I could practically fit six of these lots into my old lot. I thought that the neighbors were too close. I even considered erecting six foot picket fencing all around but then I realized I would be shutting myself in and didn't want that either. After some years I learned to adjust. My oldest son just lives twenty minutes away from me in Monroe, MI. I can drive down to his house and feel like I've driven WAY OUT into the country. His home sits on 2 1/2 acres. We refer to visiting him as "going to the farm". He loves his animals. He has goats, rabbits, chickens. guinea and...

I am thrilled to recommend Marygrace Liparato, ReMax Realtor to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home. I cannot say enough about the service that we received during an incredibly tough seller's market in 2009.  I believe Marygrace's strength lies in her passion and commitment to her career as a real estate professional. She constantly remains abreast of changes in the real estate market, the economy and legislation that will impact her clients and give them every advantage for their situation. She provided information for us that went above and beyond the sale of our home that will impact our future home purchase, financing options, etc. Her enthusiasm for her job  is also clear by the extent to which she takes advantage of all resources and tools to communicate and advertise the ...

I just rediscovered the very funny Terry Tate: Office Linebacker videos, which were a series of short television commercials from a few years ago. If you’ve ever worked in an office environment, and I know that many of you have, then you’ll really appreciate how Terry Tate enforces office policies and rules. I wish that Terry had worked in my office to help with all of the people who just can't seem to follow common office courtesy. Every office needs a Terry Tate! I’m thinking of posting more of these great videos if people seem to enjoy them as much as I do. There are other videos entitled "Vacation," "Sensitivity Training," "Draft Day," "Office Athlete of the Century," "Streaker" and "Late Lunch," each of which is really funny. I'm only posting one right now, so I hope you enjoy it.

Rates remain at an all time low.  The market is adjusting and there are many great deals available.I think Monroe is an excellent choice for that home.  Taxes are very low http://www.michigan.gov/treasury/0,1607,7-121--82403--,00.html, traffic is virtually non-existent (you can drive from one end of town to the other end in less then 30 minutes unlike some metro Detroit cities where you may only creep a few miles in the same time), conveniently located between Detroit, Ann Arbor and Toledo for an easy commute to work, 25 minutes to Detroit's McNamera Terminal http://www.metroairport.com/programs/mcnamara.asp, where you can fly virtually anywhere in the world non-stop.Monroe is a historic, quaint city located on Lake Erie - http://historicmonroe.org/ with many happeningshttp://www.monroe...
