The city has started a program to assist lower-income homeowners with making their houses more energy-efficient, as a way to stabilize what's turning into a big expense for many homeowners. The money can be used for energy-efficient appliances, lighting, windows, doors, heating and cooling systems; and for air-sealing, insulation and water-saving devices. Coming soon - a house will be moved from Downtown Ann Arbor to a vacant lot on Pontiac Trail.  This vacant lot on Pontiac Trail, in the historic Northside area, recently was purchased to make room for a home in Downtown Ann Arbor that is being relocated to make room for a mid rise condo building-  Now that is progress!   I will add phots as the move takes place.
