I just learned that the Chesapeake Bay Trust is offering a free mobile application for your Iphone, Ipad, and I Touch. The app can identify local birds, as well as species of trees and local wildlife. Well, I thought I would take this time to write a little about New Years Resolutions, and perhaps this year, while writing them I might actually accomplish "some" of them??? #1 Be more Patient     Ok, Ok, I have said this one before too! I just have to settle myself down a bit! I always get so "passionate" about some topics, and I get lead into my hyper self. So, this year I really need to try a bit harder. #2 Work More Efficiently!     I feel sometimes like I am going in circles. I need to get a system this week and go with it. I actually started today with a simple excel spreadsheet for tracking my process, and I am going to simply use my outlook calendar for organizing my day. OK so today is finally supposed to be the last day of heavy rain and winds here since wednesday and the remnants of Hurricane Ida! This rain has really "dampened" (no punn intended) my week. I had a planned closing on a home I built scheduled for yesterday. The sod on the lawn was scheduled to be installed on last wednesday (rain or shine) well it rained and rained and rained! The weather was so bad we couldnt get the sod down. Well after begging some very angry customers to wait it out. They have agreed to extend it until This Wednesday. Well for the first time in over 20 years of building homes, I have contractors installing the lawn on a SUNDAY. I just hope this will all work out and I can get this behind me.
