The long talked about ICC is under construction.  The Inter-County Connector (ICC) is a toll high way that is being contructed to connect portions of Montgomery County with Prince George's County.  This project has been controversial partly because of it's proximity to residential areas.  However, the ICC is hoping to reduce congestion and speed the commute between these locations. The first segment between I-370 in Shady Grove and Georgia Ave (near Leisure World) is set to open in early 2011. Damskey, the new District 4 Commander, visited with greater Olney business leaders and residents at an open house at the Olney MD Police Satellite Station. He answered questions about crime in Olney, speeding, and the viability of the Olney MD Police Satellite Station. Cmdr.
