ART IS GOING TO THE DOGS!

Dogs for the Arts Event in Hyattsville, Maryland Area residents and their dogs are invited to Magruder Park on Sunday, June 16 to participate in various art activities. ‘‘Dogs for the Arts” will feature activities such as paw painting, dog tricks and a dog/owner look-alike contest. The City of Hyattsville, the Prince George’s Arts Council and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission are sponsoring the event. Festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of 40th Avenue and Hamilton Street in Hyattsville. Remember, all dogs must be on leashes and an adult must accompany dog owners ages 16 and younger.
