Kentlands Summerfest and Birthday Celebration The Kentlands Summerfest for community families and their guests happened to be scheduled on my birthday this year. This event included dinner, drinks, entertainment and lawn games around the Kentlands Club House.  We were a bit worried about being with a large crowd since the COVID cases are increasing in the area. Maryland Mandates COVID-19 Vaccines At Nursing Homes, Hospitals  About 80 percent of Marylanders who are 18 and older have been vaccinated. To prevent the spread of the delta variant of the virus, the governor said the state's health department would be issuing orders at two types of facilities — hospitals and nursing homes.   Vaccination protocols will be instituted for all staff in all Maryland hospitals and nursing home employees, effective immediately, according to Gov. Hogan.   Employees must show proof of vaccination, with their first shot by Sept. 1, or adhere to regular screening and COVID-19 testing, based on the new hospital and nursing home mandate from the Maryland Department of Health.  Corsage Orchids, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Richmond Virginia USA IMG 0950Canon Powe...
