It is 127 miles from Kentlands and well worth the trip to visit the Conservatory and the current exhibit, Orchid Extravaganza. We enjoy being surrounded with thousands of flowers with our cameras in hand. One of the quality of life features of Montgomery County, Maryland is that we can make day trips to many places in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
